The Northern Forest Canoe Trail

Due to Covid, we are NOT offering any rentals, trips or shuttles at this time.

The Northern Forest Canoe Trail (NFCT) links the waterways of New York, Vermont, Québec, New Hampshire and Maine. It's southern terminus is located right off our dock in Old Forge, New York.
The route's variety of flat water, swift water, and whitewater, on a range of rivers, streams, lakes and ponds provide extensive opportunities for canoe and kayak recreation. Vibrant communities along the way offer inns, B&Bs and camping facilities, as well as other recreational and heritage attractions.

Your Northern Forest Canoe Trail Headquarters

We also offer canoe and kayak rentals and shuttle service from Old Forge up to the Plattsburg Boat Launch. Have any questions? Call us at (315) 369-6672, ext. 2.
