Planning on attending Adirondack Paddlefest? Whether this will be your first Paddlefest, or if you are a returning attendee, here is an FAQ that can answer many of your questions. This is New York and in the Adirondacks, we say if you don’t like the weather then wait 10 minutes. So, check out the latest weather forecast and be prepared for the elements. Rain or shine, the show will go on!

When is Adirondack Paddlefest 2023?
Adirondack Paddlefest 2023 takes place on Saturday and Sunday, June 3 rd and 4 th . Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Where is the event held?
Adirondack Paddlefest 2023 will be held entirely at our store locations on Rt. 28 in Old Forge, NY. There is plenty of parking.

Who will be at the show?
Right now we have almost three dozen manufacturers and a number of other groups and organizations attending the show. We will have over 1,000 canoes, kayaks and SUP’s from many of the leading manufacturers in the industry and hundreds of accessories to choose from. In addition, representatives, designers, and company executives will be on hand to show you their products and help you choose what is best for your paddling needs.

Will there be test paddling this year?
Yes. There will be the opportunity to test paddle. However, due to limited staffing and other issues all test paddling will take place behind our Boat Shop instead of the
Old Forge Lake Front. While we have always encouraged test paddling before purchasing a canoe, kayak or SUP in many cases other factors such as seat comfort, roominess and even design and color are important in some of the lesser technical models. If customers wish to test paddle at this year’s event there will be a $50 boat deposit (which goes towards the purchase of a canoe, kayak or SUP by the end of the weekend) before being allowed to test paddle and test paddling will be limited to just two models. Additional test paddle deposits can be made to try out more boats and SUP’s but keep in mind that the deposits are only refunded (actually applied to) the purchase of a canoe, kayak or SUP by the end of the show on Sunday.

Will there be food and entertainment at the show?
We are currently working on having a food vendor and musical act(s) for the event. There are also numerous restaurants and food services within a short distance from the event.
