We want to make sure you have a GREAT shopping experience, so please read the following policies before ordering:

Unused and unworn merchandise (excluding kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards) can be returned or exchanged in original packaging within 30 days. Closeout and clearance items cannot be returned, but can be exchanged for other merchandise. You are responsible for return shipping. Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and Special Ordered items may not be returned or exchanged. If you need to return or exchange an item, please contact us at 315-369-6672 or at info@mountainmanoutdoors.com.

Canoe & Kayak Deposit Policy

  • Once a deposit has been placed on a boat it is not refundable and can be used only for the purchase of a canoe or kayak.
  • Any deposit for a boat purchased as a special order can only be used for the boat ordered.
  • All deposits on boats must be paid in full 60-days after the original deposit for any boat in stock or 60-days after the delivery to Mountainman of any special order boat.  Failure comply will result in full forfeiture of the deposit. 
Canoe & Kayak Shipping Policy

It is the customer’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect boats BEFORE signing for it from the shipping company. Once you sign to accept shipment, the boat is your property and there is no recourse to the shipping company and thus nothing we can do to help.

Some minor scratching or cosmetic damage may occur during shipping and is normal however, if the boat is badly damaged, do not receive the boat. Sign the paperwork “Refused due to damage.”
