The Guide was designed for the Foxworx owner's son Andrew who works summers as a guide in the Adirondacks. This paddle uses a 14 degree bent oval basswood shaft. The blade is poplar,cedar and black walnut with walnut edges and tip. A lexan strip along the bottom offers more protection for the tip. This paddle is a great day tripper and was also designed to work well for extended trips. Palm grip is standard.
